Counseling and is a Registered Naturopath. She

Dr. Candace J. Thomas runs her chiropractic
practice conveniently within the Healthy
Heart Plus office.
Dr. Thomas earned her Bachelor of Science
Degreein Biology, Pre-med, from Old
Dominion University, Norfolk, VA.
While seeking a future in natural, holistic,
medicine she began to meet with local
chiropractors to discuss and better
understand the art, science,& philosophy
of Chiropractic.
Dr. Candace J. Thomas attended Life
University in Marietta, GA, and later
transferred to Sherman College in
Spartanburg, SC,where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Dr. Thomas specializes in Diversified, Thompson, pediatric care, organic supplementation, and is Advanced Certified in the gentle care of the Activator Methods Technique. Dr. Thomas understands the amazing capabilities of the body uninterrupted and through chiropractic can provide anyone with a BETTER LIFE!

radio, daily with the “Did You Know” nutrition tip of the
day and is now being heard on Radio One.
Alice partnered with CIGNA and The City of Richmond and developed a Wellness Program called Passport to Wellness. Passport to Wellness was a series based health education program facilitated by Richmond City. Healthy Heart Plus collaborated for 12 months with the City of Richmond, which enhanced the City’s efforts to:
Establish the City of Richmond as a model program for worksite wellness programs
Reduce the rate of sick days taken by City of Richmond employees
Enhance the resources available to City of Richmond employees to help evaluate and improve their current health condition
Provide City of Richmond employees with the most current information about health and wellness
