The Grocery Store Tour

The Grocery Store is a fun and innovative way of learning how to shop for food once we have made the decision to change our eating habits. Healthy Heart Plus has partnered with local supermarkets to open their doors and allow us to utilize their facility as a guide to good healthy eating. We feature their Produce Department and their Organic Food Market to help our clients be creative in their food preparation and to offer a variety of delicious and healthy food choices. During the tour, we learn about soy products, produce, seasonings and reading food labels. We also get an opportunity to sample some of these items! This tour is a mandatory part of the Initial Consultation at Healthy Heart Plus. The tour is $25.00 and it includes the following items.

Tours take place on the third Saturday of every month. You may sign up at the front desk at Healthy Heart Plus. You will be required to participate in a mock tour before the actual tour date.
